About the Program

Zichron Binyomin Tzvi

A living memorial built from the Torah of bochurim — daf by daf, mishnah by mishnah, night after night.

In Memory of Binyomin Tzvi a"h

Masmidim — Zichron Binyomin Tzvi was established as a permanent zechus for the neshama of Binyomin Tzvi a"h. Every Mishnah, every daf, every minute of extra learning produced by the Masmidim of the Mechina of South Florida becomes another stone in this living memorial.

Led by Rabbi Pesach Shifman

Rabbi Pesach Shifman, beloved rebbi at the Mechina of South Florida, runs the Masmidim program with warmth, vision, and an unwavering belief in every bochur. He builds the schedule, tracks the learning, organizes the incentives, and most importantly — sits with the boys, learns alongside them, and celebrates every milestone with a personal hand on the shoulder.

A Program of the Mechina of South Florida

The Mechina of South Florida is a place where bochurim grow into bnei Torah — steeped in Gemara, character, and avodas Hashem. Masmidim is the after-Seder program that takes the Mechina's nightly schedule and adds a crown to it: voluntary, rewarded, celebrated extra learning. Learn more about the Mechina at mechinasf.com.

How It Works

  • Bochurim sign up to learn extra after the regular night Seder.
  • Rabbi Shifman tracks learning and awards points for ameilus.
  • Weekly seudos, milestone prizes, and special events reward the boys.
  • Donors partner monthly — sponsoring incentives, food, and the ruach that drives it all.
